Comet Lulin will make an appearance this Tuesday! Lulin will be a scant 61 million kilometers away that night and will be pretty large, 20 arcminutes! It’ll also be rather dim, with a magnitude of +5.6 (which means it is about 1/175th of the brightness of the sun) so you’ll need binoculars or a dark sky. Or a 18.5 inch refracting telescope, if you can get your hands on one.
